Switched to flex fuel sensor just to see what percent there was in the gas 10%(probably E10 then) switched back to "normal" again.

I think you may be getting close to the point. Octane rating does not directly effect flame speed. Octane rating can indirectly change flame speed...

No IMO you are not right. HPT has never had a published phone number. It should be the same price so I would buy direct from HPT in case any problems...

Commanded is a bunch of math. If n grams per cylinder air and x injector pulse width, then y commanded AFR. It's not feedback.

I still don't understand why you are not tuning the ecm that's in the vehicle already. Unless this is a swap You can't copy things blindly...
