Been working on this 2020 Mustang GT twin turbo car. Made right around 740whp on my dyno on 8psi. Runs pretty strong.
After doing a lot of research on this forum, it seems I've got some glaring issues to address.
Where does "desired load" come from in the file? I thought I had load calculations done up to 2.00 load but apparently it's not calculating above 1.1-1.2?
The maf is registering 1.6 on the air load but according to the log, only 1.16 is desired.
What gives

I did figure out that the MAXIMUM LOAD mapped points under Speed Density where set to stock values. I set them all to 3.0 which (I assume) will allow the calcuation of greater than the 1.1 load. Sure enough, next log DESIRED LOAD was up to 1.7 which tells me I'm on the right track.

What are these two tables doing to your "driver demand" request?

It all starts with a torque request, then converts that to an airflow request (think throttle open) and then bases all of the other calculations on your Speed density/torque to load models

That’s where the fun part starts the coyote cookbook describes the process just remember torque at the tire and torque from the engine will be different
As I understand it, the coyote cookbook leaves a lot to be desired. Granted I've never read it, but thats what I've heard on these forums.Quote:
