I read that if you have HPTuners, you can remove the B&M Shiftplus because HPTuners can do the same thing??? Is this true? Can HPTuners do the same or is B&M Better? How do i adjust the shift firmness if possible?
Thanks!

I am not familiar with B/m's products in particular, but I would have to take an educated guess that HpTUners is by FAR SUPERIOR. B$M is a tranny company and Hp has state of the art vcm tuning, which usually includes access to hundreds of parameters for the transmission.
That type of vehicle do you have?
Its a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L Ecotec going to be turbocharged in 2 days and im desperately in need of tuning help... :(
if the b&m thing you are talking about is the shift kit that goes into the tranny, then no HPT can not do the same thing. If it is a program to control the TCU/ECU then I would say yes.
Cool...
See this way i can get rid of my shiftplus..
i believe the shift plus is just a module that alters the transmission parameters if i am not mistaken, so in that case i would definitely get rid of it once using the hptuners
sell the shift plus and ajust your tranny parameter in VCM suite :yay:
Do you know how to adjust the tranny parameter?Quote:

Desired shift time at about .350 has always worked for me.
