I have a 2017 f150 eco 3.5, I overlayed a 2017 raptor tune and then loaded it into my 3.5 eco. logs are attached of the findings. both tunes were rich I'm trying to lean it out. how to I add 2-3 psi of boost. I heard the raptors run 22-23 psi stock. I was seeing 17psi
The file labeled "stock" looks like the tuned one. The LSPI tables look flip flopped except for the Max table. Maybe not a clean overlay?
What do the lspi tables do again? The raptor tune was very similar to the f150. Timing was 1-2* more on the raptor and boost seemed to be 17.

The lo, nominal, and hi tables would refer to oil life or friction modifier effectiveness. Oil quality can have a major effect on LSPI.
Fmem is failure management events mode. It protects things like the turbo when sensors fail.
here is a log with a few highway pulls. timing was 2* more than stock. I overlayed the raptor tune for timing. I'm trying to increase the boost and then start leaning it out. please let me know what you think., any help is appreciated. .
your knocking a bunch and not getting much if any of that spark you added as its running neg advance for must of the first pull.
you can increase your tip in retard but I think you should put your spark back to stock and log that.
try that and post it up and lets see what advance you can get.
also what octane are you running?
i set the timing back to stock and made the changes you recommendedAttachment 69114Attachment 69115. here are a few pulls. it seems to have some knock even stock. any help is appreciated.
here is a pull. boost is good at 18ish and timing is stock. I added fuel on the return log and I'm still getting knock retard. 91 octane in tank. any help is appreciated.
how much knock is acceptable? these things seem to always be pulling timing
From you log your not going into power enrichment adjust these Attachment 69173
Also lower your boost down, get the knock under control. add boost back slowly - you may never be able to run boost like a raptor.
Adding fuel wont help if your running to much boost and timing for your engine and octane.
please add "AIR LOAD" to you scanner channels.
put knock fast advance rate back to stock 0.50Attachment 69175
Do those, do a new log and post with your new tune.

I see borderline spark is the table controlling the timing. which one is it though? id like to pull 2-3 degrees out of the entire advance up top where it is knocking.
current file and log, no knock. I lowered the lspi max to 1.85 from 2.20 and that seems to limit the boost nicly. it spikes on the shift but trys to get back to 1.85. can anyone tell me why it goes pig rich half way through the pull? possibly cat over temp?

ok I made the change and the it doesn't go rich, . still have max temp error and it pulls down the boost. I have the temp threshold at 1500, 1700 and 1900 and it still trips it yet I log 1450*,

try raising your exhaust temp vs rpm vs load by a hundred, cant be more then 2048.
That exhaust temp table is the inferred temperatures. raising them will make the ecu think you exhaust parts are hotter, which increasing boost they probably are. lowering it will make the ECU think the exhaust is cooler and not pull boost. The risk is damaging parts if the temps really does get too hot.
