2009 CTS-V need some help

I bought a 2009 CTS-V about a month ago. I bought it from a dealer and he gave me a list (not really detailed) of what has been done.
The list is following
Heads/Cam done by WeaponX motorsports
Ported ZL1 supercharger
103 throttle body
Longtube headers
ID850 injectors
DSX aux Fuel pump
Tuned on 93, Can run up to 60% E
Thats all the info i got. I've tried getting ahold of weapon X to see if they could give me anymore info but i guess they are either closed down or just dont answer calls or emails. My concern is the tune. when I opened, its way passed my level of tuning but it doesnt look right and i dont want to drive it till i know its safe. if anyone can take a look at it and maybe point me in the right direction. One of the most important things to know on these vehicles is the pulley combo. Need to measure your crank pulley with a tape measure, same with the blower pulley unless you can make out the size stamped or etched into it.

If the tune is way passed your level, how do you know it doesn't look right?

The "safe" part of these tunes and/or vehicles is primarily spark timing and AFR. If you don't know the pulley sizes you can't estimate the advance so there's no real way to tell how "safe" it is until you know the pulley sizes and have run a data log to see where the vehicle operates as far as trims, timing, etc.

That being said there is definitely some odd stuff in there. It's setup for flex fuel but they are absolutely not taking advantage of it. There's other weird shit too. And it's a typical crappy "MAF only" tune with the VVE being half assed tuned or modified. It's not stock but it ain't right either. I can tell by the shape.

It looks like an unfinished tune to be honest. What's funny about the VE table is it has the same peaks at 1600, 2400-2600 and 3200. Just like all us CTS guys that are having the lean spike issue.

Yup, I noticed that as well. Looks like since Dyn airflow is disabled above 2k rpm that they didn't tune the rest of the VVE above about 3200 rpm. I'm definitely starting to think there are ALOT more guys who have this lean problem and don't even realize it

It normal to use the FF spark advance for low to mid areas then use the PE alcohol table spark for high load areas? I've just used the FF spark table and don't have my PE alcohol table populated and it works just fine

Yeah, that's how I do it also. I think I might have tested the PE adder and didn't notice any added spark advance. But I don't remember now. I didn't even notice in the tune till you said this that the timing was in the PE table. I also just noticed the VVE table changes are only on the manifold closed so they are not doing anything anyways. Probably gave up and went to MAF only.

I think a while ago alot of guys tuning FF on these cars would just use the PE alcohol table and not even populate the FF spark table. I remember reading a thread about it a while ago. Hmm, I didn't notice that on the "manifold closed" tab and no others were used

I've done it both ways. I'd rather use the full flex fuel table now. But a lot of guys miss the multiplier vs composition table. On some OS's it is all zeros and you won't get any flex fuel advance.

Actually, now that I think about it, you're right. When I was testing the PE table, I probably had that table zeroed at the time.
