Check the latest beta for the scanner. It should now be under the vehicle controls>special Functions>System
Really? Didn't think HPT was going to do something like this - Any chance the dodge theft deactivation might find it's way there too? :)
progress is happening?! I like it! Cant wait for follow-on improvements and additions for capabilities!
Wow that is cool.
For what its worth if you guys are adding this feature I have turned off TPMS on a variety of different vehicles with a BD using the 2010-2012 Ram selection, its had worked on Jeeps, PT Cruisers, Chargers, 09 Hemis... I'm sure im forgetting some. I have no idea how it works but I do know it seems to work on a LOT of different Chrysler modules.
what is a BD?
Can you turn them off on the ford f150s 2011 with the new bata?
Saw this thread, I downloaded the latest scanner/editor 2/25/2018 1:59:46 PM
VCM Suite Product: VCM Scanner 3.6.26, I didn't see the tpms deactivation in the parameters, is there anyone that can get me a the scanner beta download with this option?
Does it de-activate or just get rid of the lower limit?
I have a customer that wouldn't mind lowering his settings for the TPMS. He has a 2017 Ram 2500. Mild lift & tires. 35" tall BFG on 20" rims
The max weight per tire is XXXX at 65psi. And I think the stock TPMS settings is at 80psi. He would sure love to at least to lower it so that the light & alarm would stay off.
Do you think down the road would it be something that HP Tuners would look in to it ?
so as of june 2018 has anyone deactivated/shut off tpms with hptuner yes or no?????????
thx in advance
wanna do it in my drag race chrysler as its so annoying when i lower air in my drag radials
J scan phone app will remove tyre pressure sensors and airbag lights etc.
Try using AlphaOBD with a compatible OBD2 adapter. This software has dealer level options you can change in the vehicle configuration settings. I've used it to change many things in my 2013 Avenger for example when I switch my high beam headlights on I can still have my low beams on at the same time. I can change voltage options to the headlights, change tpm settings, and many other options you can change but be careful if you change something or activate something you shouldn't.
