I understand how to map shift patterns and how to command the shift tables by multiplying my desired RPM shift by the gear ratio to get the desired spline rpm for shift.
Can anyone elaborate how the shift pressures work? I have viewed a few files that were dyno tuned by a performance shop and they increase the shift pressures. BUT, I do not want to do that to my file yet because I do not entirely understand what these tables do/perform. Thanks
