First, make sure you keep the throttle transitions smooth. Second, I wouldn't mess with the negative areas unless you have to.
The easiest way is to just take each rows positive numbers and multiple by say 5% or 10% in the area you want to increase and then taper the adjacent cells by 3% or 7% and then 1% or 5% etc etc etc.
IF you don't do it right, you will know soon after driving as the car will act very odd and maybe even double rev on rev match.

If I remember correctly you do not want to interpolate the numbers. In my experience on stock engines adding 10% and leaving the negative areas alone is all you need to do.
Interpolating the DD table can cause some weird throttle behaviors so you have to be careful where and how much you use it. Due to this, I pretty much never interpolate the DD tables.
on a stock table, I added 15 percent to the botttom line then interpolate up to the 30% throttle row. that way i stayed out of the negative numbers and wouldnt have any isues down low.
I thought you adjusted the throttle response in Airflow, Pressure control. The tables you are talking about say "WARNING!!! Modify this table at OWN RISK."
