No Data from PIDs

I have a client with a 2.0 LNF Ecotec that uses the Bosch E69 controller... We tuned him years ago and someone local talked him into a dyno tune recently.. needless to say they messed the car up and it ran very poorly. He called us to un-due what they did so we started by flashing the last file back to the ECM and at this point we went to log the car and the VCM Scanner connects to the car....starts to read... but no data... not even RPM's are being displayed... We thought it could be our equipment so we had the customer plug into his wifes Cadi and it worked just fine...

So we thought maybe the ECM was shot.. so we cloned his ECM and sent the new one out to him... after the key learn car runs and drives but again same thing... no data showing on the VCM Scanner

Anyone ever have this happen to them?
