E38 LS3 - Fan Desired% vs ECT offset from actual ECT
I have read thru many of the fan control threads and understand how fan control is supposed to work. And it does work as expected, EXCEPT, that I need to have the table [ECM] 18030 setup about 15 degrees higher than I should for the desired control temperatures. Example, for the fans to turn on at 200 deg I need to have the table set at 215 deg. This is the second vehicle I've noticed this on. Both LS3 E38 vehicles.
Anyone have any insight as to why this is happening?
