E38 LS3 - Fan Desired% vs ECT offset from actual ECT

I have read thru many of the fan control threads and understand how fan control is supposed to work. And it does work as expected, EXCEPT, that I need to have the table [ECM] 18030 setup about 15 degrees higher than I should for the desired control temperatures. Example, for the fans to turn on at 200 deg I need to have the table set at 215 deg. This is the second vehicle I've noticed this on. Both LS3 E38 vehicles.

Anyone have any insight as to why this is happening?

So? If you had to paste a picture of a goat wearing a sweater into the table to get it to do what you want, and by doing that it did what you wanted it to, who cares?

I would put the number of fans fitted back to 2. Even if you are only using one.

Is there a chance you are getting a unusual AC pressure signal even though its a swap. How you have that table is a bit odd and I'd almost like to see it zeroed out to see if it is a culprit.

Also try this.. it should be on 200 off around 195 for 1 fan. If it happens to turn off i the high 190's than we know that you are pinned to the high speed fan.
