Has anyone had a mvp3 fail in the middle of a write then say controller unlocker timeout the truck would not start. After about 10 tries I got it read, it got to 75% and failed with the same message then 10 tries later it wrote a complete tune thankfully. I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same kind of problem or a solution to the problem. Also this the second day I have owned my hp tuner and first real tuner
You have a good batterie on your truck? Sometime voltage is a bot low
My mpvi2 times out all the time on 03-05 trucks.. just have to keep trying until it actually goes through
I have had this happen several times, with a Battey charger on the batteries. I had to replace the original USB cord, with a new cord; have not had an issue since.
All you have to do is remove two relays and it'll be fine. I believe it's the furthest left micro280 and the bottom 4pin SPST. I've done this about 200 times at this point with no issue.
Look at the factory fusebox cover and you'll see what I mean. Fuel Pump and something else that makes sense.
