Which one would be better keeping the original account sensor at the rear underneath the intake at the back of the block or upgrading to the newer timing chain cover with the cam sensor in it?

Which one would be better keeping the original account sensor at the rear underneath the intake at the back of the block or upgrading to the newer timing chain cover with the cam sensor in it?
There's no reason to change from one to the other unless you change something that forces you to change - like a Gen 4 block that doesn't have the sensor hole at the rear. Both front & rear output the same 1x sync signal.
