Currently: afr500v2 analog with ntk cal grade sensor/v2 can with bosch 4.9 for 07+ na builds
Dual 14point7 spartan 3 lite v2 with 4.9 for reference on dyno
Tune 2-4 vehicles per week

Ive been using LC2 and LM2 with 4.9 bosch sensors for several years.
Seems the 4.9s usually last about 15-20 vehicles before going bad.
some weeks are only 1 tune, max is 8 a week.
I like the NTK with the Holley ECUs.

I've had great luck with AEM. Especially the CAN version. I wouldn't recommend another.
I have them setup modular to go from car to car.

I must have had some great bosch sensors. I was tuning 100+ on the same sensor when i ran a 30-0300. I would retire them about once a year mainly due to being in misfiring vehicles. Im not expecting the dyno sensors to last but so far the one ive used has been great.

I'm not a pro, but I do have three different vehicles with a total of 4 uego's LSU 4.9's for the last 4 years (knock on wood) and have not had a failure yet. Two of them are controlled by AEM and the other two are on a Holley system. I imagine sensor failure is the easiest to spot, but sensor drift on the other hand may be a whole other bag of worms to contend with and this is where ignorance may be bliss?
Do you think the location of the dyno sensors plays a significant roll in failure rate? Such as, if your gonna put it in the tail pipe, don't put it in there until the exhaust is thoroughly warmed up?

There is quite a bit of condensation that builds up between logs and during a short cool down sometimes. Being at the tailpipe ive seen the clamps soaked in water after a few pulls even on vehicles drove in that were already warm. Some of these large mufflers on trucks are the worst.

Tail pipe sniffers will kill widebands. Make a couple pulls without it first.
