6L80E Terminator X MAX and TUTD

Has anyone on here used the terminator Max to run a holley with a 6L80E? I have one that is working for the last 6 months, The customer wanted to add TUTD to it and the different modes. I added a shift handle, and on the Holley it is showing that the TUTD buttons work, and that the Secondary shift mode are activating. However when I am in the transmission (via HP) it doesn't seem to be responding to these things.

I have referenced many other TUTD threads, which got me as close as I have been. I can get the transmission into TUTD mode by having the selector in D5. However nothing happens when I actually use the buttons. Same with the mode switch, it doesn't switch from normal to tow/haul or anything like that, NO changes in shifting behavior etc.

I am at a bit of a loss, I assume the serial message is being sent but something isn't happy on the TCU side. I am running out of ideas, and since I am not using the Superchips transmission hand held Holley isn't any help.

One last thing I plan to try is to flash the TCU with the handheld and see if the tap up tap down starts working somehow.

Are you sure the TCM is compatible with TUTD and such?

That is a great question, and I am not 100% sure on that. From what I have seen most people have been able to make them work with some different trickery depending on each TCM. I did not drive this particular donor vehicle,
but it did have the lever (08 escalade)

I don't believe the donor Esky has a true "tapshift" .. Just a manual mode that allows you choose the highest
gear it can achieve. It's not the same as the camaro/corvette true tap up and tap down levers

Even that would be ok, thats all the customer really wants, just to be able to lock out the top OD gear while towing occasionally

I wanted to bring this to the top to see if anyone would be willing to try something. So with my unique situation, I need someone with a known working TUDU vehicle to send me ONLY the TCM file from their vehicle. I am not 100% sure on this but i think you would have to pull the PCM fuses to make this work and attempt to communicate with the TCM only (power will still need to go to the TCM) and see if they can send me the file. I have downloaded some tunes from the repository but since its tied to a engine and VIN I can't force it into my TCM.
