6T40 TCC slip correction
Hi!
Need some advice how to eliminate TCC slip into 6T40
What safe pressures are ?
Why TCC max allowed pressure drops from 1400kPa at 500rpm to 890kPa at 8k rpm ? I thought it should be opposite and increase with rpm
Apply/release table by gear also has increased from 19% 123 speeds to 25% at 4th, 36% at 5th and 47% at 6th
Looks like at normal driving tranny don't use TCC lock on ?

Have the tune file?
Is this a stock torque converter or a aftermarket converter? Lots of stock converters and calibrations will always have some slip built into the calibration. Atleast all the 6L80's will show slip. Most of us disable the converter in gears 1-4 and only use it in 5th and 6th to save the converter, then just lower the slip down to around 5rpm if it's still stock.

Yes it stock and I know that it developed as slipping
But I wanna eliminate it as on 6l80 cuz this slip produce some debris from lining
Maybe I will disable TCC lock onto 2-4 -need some test
But before I should understand for myself what every option will affect if I change the value and what limits I should not pass
When I'm driving I'm definitely feel that TCC locked at low throttle and car braking by engine
But TCC ON chart says that TCC wont affect if pedal lower than 15% (and so in 24 and more for higher gears)
And why TCC max allowed pressure drops with rpm increase
My head is boiling and steam goes from ears ...

My bad I wrongly thought that numbers are percentage of throttle but they are speed (
Anyway I disabled TCC lock on at 1-4 speeds and it seems much more smooth transition between gears at light throttle
