tranny temp? but then we have the torque reduction overheat protection...

ok so the transmission operating temp is 160-180ish but when looking at the TCM 10026 maximum torque reduction vs tranny temp, the temps they are using are as followed 248*/257*/266*/284* and torque reduction 100%/90%/70%/30% im not the smarts as some as some would say but help me out with this one, how does this make sense? and im worried about driving around temps up in the 189*? lol, yeah i still need to get it lower. will be attending that shortly. also, installed the blue tops and no difference in upshifts but downshifts at low speeds can feel and not liking it. the blue tops from what i heard would give a firmer shift without a tune but either my tune is still off by a long shot which im sure it is or those blue tops were from ebay and sold at the mercedes dealer. lol onr day before im dead, ill have fun with this vehicle.

if i raise the clutch torque factor in shift pressures for each gear and clutche pack, would that maybe allow me to raise the power in the dd section without getting p061A "internal control module torque performance" code and entering into limp mode till i delete said code???? i raised the power percentage and for the few seconds i feel the back of my seat! it was the bee's knee's.

Tranny temp is monitored in different way: Oil sump, shift elements and torque converter. Depending on engine torque, torque management and vehicle model, these tables might be different. Temperatures are either a sensor or an algorithmic math inside the PCM.

Let me know if you need support tuning your tranny.

P061A could be related to engine problem (not necessarily transmission). Check:
- MAP sensor
- Throttle sensor
- Vacuum Leaks
- ...

Let me know in case of tune support needed.

If I remember right it comes from having torque commands on the engine side ridiculously high above a torque limit threshold, maybe the NDOT, Speed Desired Output Torque. I can’t quite remember, it’s definitely a result of where torque limits are set on the engine side though. Might be more along the lines really high torque being commanded and no engine acceleration or not enough engine acceleration happening for the commanded torque and it times out and sets that DTC and derate.

The blue tops were an old school mod before hptuners, and the same effect can be had by adjusting in the tune in the pressure tables.

yes, wasnt any real differences between the two. just the price. lol.

this is the tune that i cant read or editand a log with light throttle.
