2020 ST with modes on a stock tune for now

So my 1st explorer and its a ST line.
I picked up a salvage ST, no major damage just All the airbags deployed. (replacing all of them when I acquire all the parts)
The vehicle has 82k on it and mechanically is strong.
While fixing the front end damage I've added
FEN Fabrication High Flow Air Intake V2
CVF Stainless Steel Catted Downpipes
Steeda intercooler

I coming from tuning GM LSX/LT vehicles in the pass.

I have HPtuners and trying to get a starting point with ford tuning.....

any help or pointers would be appreciated

1st 2 pulls were in in 3rd/4th gear in normal mode
pulls 3 & 4 were in 3rd/4th gears in Sport mode.
don't know if it makes a difference for moving pulls

is it normal to run 0-4 deg's of timing at WOT?

As far as ignition timing goes, it depends on the fuel your using, and how knock octane modifier has gone either positive or negative 1.

There's not alot of 3.0t ecoboost info out there, so the you'll have to infer alot of the stuff from 3.5 and 2.0 ecoboost stuff that 2018+ or so.

If you search the this sub forum you'll find alot of threads others with explorer STs and myself, your free to use my channels for logging or you'll find others here.

The most important thing is to log Torque and Airflow sources and limits PID on the scanner, that will tell you what's currently limiting you, and from there what you need to adjust to keep from hitting those limits.

I do not suggest to disable all the limits, as they are there for engine safety.. although it's easy to do and tempting, it seem like it defeats the ecus intended logic..

After looking over settings and seeing what others are doing this is where it stands.
Feels good, a big change how it drivers and performs. I'm running 93 octane at the moment would like to throw some ethanol in the tank.

Log looks decent actually, no knock and it's actually adding a bit of timing, but still only around 3 degrees of timing at WOT, you need to add all your mapped points to your datalog channels so you can see what points are used at WOT and go from there and add some timing. You should be able to get another 2-3 degrees on 93 pump gas. Also, your fuel commanded towards the end of one of those pulls kinda went lean, for safety on pump gas I would command .78 from 4000 all the way to redline.

looks pretty good made some changes based upon some stuff I learned in some classes, would be curious to see a log of it and how it works for you.
