03 cad escalade dbw ecu and fuel lever

Doing a swap into a 90 model c1500 engine, trans and ecu are out of a 03 cad escalade. What i am trying to find out is if there a way to get the pcm to read the fuel level.
I hate the factory gauges and am going to run a ipad with a custom dash insert where gauges are now. I would need for the fuel level to read out the obd2 to be able to read with apps like torque pro, or other APPS for now. I dont mind having to have a piler with a cage or 2 but would rather not.
