Ummmm i am not to sure about this?????

i have a 2008 Subaru GTL stock ECM fromwhat i was told. motor heavily modified would like to write to it with HPT because i already have it hahaha but all i am hearing is bad things with HPT and Subaru's mostly bricking the ECM. the car had cobb but i unmarried it just to find out someone used romrider before the cobb. i have checked another GTL Subaru's different maps they have. i have contacted support about missing tables and also how to get the HPT features they just said they would get back to me. the only difference between my 08 GT Legacy ECM and the STI ECM is the AVCS exhaust. so i dont see why i cant use HPT. if someone can give me some advice that would be awesome

it worked !!!!! after everything i have heard and read about needing to get a new ECM HP Tuners was able to read and write to my 08 Legacy GT the first time i tried. but i dont have a VE table or anything related to VE. i Contacted support a month ago to have their patch turned on to get all the features like boost by gear VE table Speedo table fuel sys table and the transmission tables, i still haven't heard from them. if anyone at HP Tuners is reading this i need all my tables please and thank you. the sooner the better there are thousands of people waiting for updates from you guys before they start using HP Tuners...
