Simple explained method to do some VVE tuning for bigger than stock camshaft.

I have been learning from great teachers, and profoundly intelligent people, on this forum during the last 3 years. The knowledge and willingness to give time and thought for others to benefit from has been an inspiration to myself and so I am making an attempt to try and help out. This method to tune VVE is not complex and probably not considered correct to some because it probably is not. I have had decent success with this method and so I share it with hopefully enough explanation to help someone out who might be struggling with VVE adjustments.
This simple method is basically just trying to get the VVE in line with the MAF so having the MAF correctly adjusted to ones best ability first would be key. This method also assumes that the airflow can still be correctly measured by the MAF so ducting and air flow has to be making sense for that.
The first thing to do is make some USER MATH PARAMETERS as shown. MATH for MAP over BAROMETER for the table vertical axis and percent error VVE vs MAF for the cells in the table. Then in TABLE LAYOUT create a table for the VVE error vs MAF. After a quick run the table will start to populate as shown above.
The data in the table can now be associated with the ZONES in the VVE table and a CORRECTION PERCENTAGE PER ZONE can be found. this correction should be kind of an average of the percentage error you see in the corresponding area on the table you create. In each zone multiple the percentage in that you wish to add at first. Percentage subtraction should be done in later iterations of this method to further better the VVE table. I usually first drop in 10 percent on top of the whole table just to get things a little closer during my first VVE tuning SCAN which I did in the case here first as well. Then I MULTIPLIED in the percentages and results of first run are shown. I also smoothed the differences only on one side at a time to start out. With subsequent iterations of this tuning process more elaborate smoothing can be done.

I hope this neanderthal method of tuning can help someone and doesnt piss off anyone too much, because this is basically just extending MAF tuning to the VVE tables. Cheers!
