When logging my trans using status bits I noticed every once in a while I get a yes for the TCC ramp exceded. What does this mean? Should I be worried?
Im not sure what the TCC ramp is. The name leads me to think that it has something to do with the apply or release speed. *IF* thats it, then perhaps your converter is applying or releasing too fast.
But again, thats my theory. One of the cooler uber-pro guys should know and help ya out.
Nothing to worry about. The TCC Status usually reads "--3--" when that bit is enabled (or maybe I have it backwards). When the TCC Status reads "Apply" or "Locked" your TCC is locking or is locked.
I am talking about the TCC ramp not the mode. I saw the -3- and then the locked and off but sometimes a red yes will show on the TCC ramp exceded.
it means the TCC pressure is being limited by the maximum value.
