Initially only needed a fuel pump in it, I bought a Walbro Hellcat pump, and Corvette style regulator/filter. Car ran for a few minutes when I had the pump outside the car in a bucket. Dropped the pump in the tank, and after it ran it never ran again. It?s getting fuel pressure not sure how much, but I?ll be checking tomorrow. When I checked the ECM, it?s from a 2000 Camaro 5.7l. No VATS, I just need to know how to properly tune it to get it running.

Pumps more than around a 255lph will overrun the Corvette filter/reg, your fuel pressure is likely 80-90psi or more and locking the injectors shut.

Thank you, that makes sense. I still have a new 93 5.7 Fuel Pump but I believe it only puts out 30ish PSI.

Proper fuel pressure is critical to EFI. You might need to buy a pump that works with the dumb filter/reg thing. Or reconfigure the fuel system to handle the 525lph pump.

dont be cheap, put a good regulator on it and move on
