I have recently installed Texas Speed Torquer V4 cam and wanted to know what should be the Normal Value for EOIT as I heard it would help minimizing the raw fuel smell. I am still working on the tune but would appreciate if someone can plug in the numbers on the card in the Excel Sheet to get the new EOIT. Also, should the new value be from 154 deg F onwards or shall I change at 133 deg F as well.
EOIT is most likely not gonna be the magic bullet your looking for. When you start introducing overlap into the valve events, it becomes more likely you will be pushing unused fuel and air out the exhaust. This is a necessary evil to gain more VE at a higher RPM.
The best ways to cover up some of the issue, burn a fuel that is pleasing to your nose or run the biggest catalytic converters you can tolerate.
Seems to me there has been a lot of trial and error in this area on this forum but I have not looked too hard for a lot of the science behind it. I suspect it's more of a emissions compliance issue than a "take the smell away" issue.
Well, heard people had some improvement when EOIT was adjusted and raw fuel smell got reduced. For me if that takes care of emission it would be fine as well.Quote:

Use this spreadsheet. You can probably just copy the values for the truck norris from this file and be close enough. You can always add to the table to delay it more.
Thanks for sharing this spreadsheet. I can just plug in the IVO & EVC values I have in the card and get the new EOIT.Quote:
