New to the tuning thing, my built LB7 has an LLY TCM and because of that i have a permanent CEL i would like to get rid of. Is it as simple as loading a stock LB7 TCM file or will i need to change something in the OS to get rid of the solenoid G DTC code? I'm trying to learn all i can myself, but some of the information just isn't found with a Google search, and 95% of the tuning info for diesels is based on EFI Live.
Post the file you have now. I think you will need to flash a TCM file from an LB7 like you mentioned that doesn't have the G solenoid. I was thinking some of the later LB7's had the G solenoid, but i could be wrong. I know the early LB7's did not.

So your problem is the LB7 has a different valve body if the truck is a 01-03 model LB7. If you have a 2004 model LB7 you can absolutely run the LLY TCM with no issues though shift points might not be as optimal for your application.
