what changes are needed when increasing stall

i have a 2014 chevy ss sedan and was looking to swap the converter to a 3000 single. What (if any) will i need to change in the trans tune? Or can i leave it the way it is?Attachment 159790 thanks for looking

I have made some of the more important changes. Misfire detection was disabled already. The next step will be to lower shift speeds, the bluecat tool should do a good job. Wouldnt recommend lockup at wot in any gear.

All you need is not mapped in HPT, so leave it the way it is...
1. Converter K-Factor vs Speed Ratio (3 tables)
2. Converter Torque Ratio vs Speed Ratio (2 tables)
3. Converter Clutch Pressure (2 tables)

Where do you find these? I have a 14 silverado 6L80 Im trying to get sorted out with my 2800 stall FTI converter. Higher load its perfect. but lower speeds, esp with the a/c on....its not as good.

Imagine you got access to those parameters, where will you find non-OEM converter characterization data?

I just cant get mine to stay locked with the a/c on. It surges up and down. More when at lower speeds.

Try these changes. Your shift times are very low, but I left them alone. Might shift hard.

I always lower the stock shift times by a percentage. Lower=firmer shifts. Try lowering shift times by .9 at a time till the shift firmness is how you like them.

I finally got a chance to run this tune. I went back and readjusted my times. Shifts better than it ever has! Thank you for the help I appreciate it.
