Hi I have a 2005 5.3L with adapter plates to a lsa supercharger. Built 4l60. Po1 ECM 2012 ZL1 injectors. 2bar 0s . I have a startup tune I setup off of chopperdocs gen3 boost training. On YouTube . What tables do I change to stop the lean throttle tip in? I'm seeing as high as 16.6:1. That's no bueno
man thats not enough info for your set up, do you know how to tune the ve tables? are you running maf? do you have a wideband and pro link cable set up and so on
Unfortunately, transient problems plague all those adapter plate setups. I don't know if anyone has figured out a real "fix" yet. Seems like most people just fuck with the transient tables until they get something they can live with, but I have never heard of anyone actually getting the problem truly corrected with a factory pcm.
Yep. Especially with the stock LSA injectors. Aftermarket injectors help some and from there it's using the transient tables to make it "better".Quote:

The injector location in the LSA manifold puts the injector spraying directly onto the little notched-out area at the upper right of the adapter plate. Not sure how you correct for that with transient settings.
The adapter plates are too thick to get good alignment between the top of the LSA port with the top of the cathedral port. If the plates were thinner, the blower would sit lower and the injector would be down lower and would be able to spray into the port instead of onto the vertical part of the adapter. I think the first adapters were made thick for clearance reasons and everybody else just copied the first ones, bandwagon style. Injector location in the LSA is awful even without the adapters which is the reason the stock injectors have the angled spray pattern.
I won't tune them.
Perhaps you can get one or two right messing with other stuff but it isn't worth it.
Ive tuned a few with Holley ECU and its much easier getting them to run good.
The last LS1 PCM i did with a LSA blower took me a really long time to get it all sorted out. Wasnt worth it to me.
I have an LSA setup running on a p01 but I have rectangle port heads. So no adapters. I still run the stock transient tables and have my ve table dialed in pretty good. I don?t get the lean tip in once it?s warmed up. But before about 170f coolant temp it?ll have a little lean stumble. I did play with the open loop fuel table and delayed closed loop until it got to about 165f. This did make it quite a bit better but it?s still not perfect. I had to add quite a bit to the high load areas of the OL EQ table to mask the cold lean tip in.

I have an LSA blower on a 6.0L and one thing I noticed was i always had a lean spike when i would tip in the throttle. It ended up being Injector timing related. Started playing with the the Injection Timing Boundary, Normal Injection Target vs. ECT, and Makeup Injection Target vs. ECT based on a suggestion from another member and it seemed to help a lot. it make sense because the injector are further up in the port compared to any other ls intake so the amount of time between when the injector fires and the fuel reaches the cylinder is different/////

Injection timing also isn't going to fix an injector that sprays directly onto a port wall instead of down the port in the general direction of the valve. I know you want to find some info that says you can but contrary to what the Instagram life coach gurus will tell you, wishing for something to be true doesn't make it so.
I don't recall asking for irrelevant commentary
