Tune Advice to wake up Tow Rig

My '05 Suburban 2500 (6.0/4.10s) is used as an occasional tow vehicle about a half dozen times a year. I pull a car on a trailer with tools and tires, or a 28' TT with weight about 7K lbs.

In WNY we have fairly mild elevation changes but I'd like a little more oomph out of the tune without having to make any mechanical changes. This is my DD/family hauler so I'm not interested in a cam, deleting cats, headers/exhaust that will inevitably drone, etc.

I have HPTuners - what are some changes I can make in the tune to boost midrange torque in the 2.5-4.5K rpm range?

I am aware of the changes to enable Power Enrichment (remove time and RPM delay, etc). Just wondering if there is any other "low hanging fruit". Not looking to make any changes that will negatively impact transmission or drivetrain durability. I am not opposed to running 93 octane if need be.

Can't see what is in the current tune if you don't post it. And a log showing what it drives like on that tune.

PE timing and 93 octane are easy low hanging fruit.

It's a completely stock 2005 2500 tune.

So you're just not going to post it/them?

I am not able to currently read the tune on my truck due to some application key issues, so here's another file I pulled from the repository. Should be a stock 2005 Silverado 2500.

Like Alvin said, 93 octane and timing. That is where you'll find your biggest gains. And PE. Trucks aren't setup to go into PE easily.

Nothing like waiting 60 seconds for a little shot of fuel and a few more degrees of timing.

Shift pattern makes a huge difference too.

Should is the key word. Just pull your file and post it.

Just PE fuel & maybe some ignition timing if you want to run 93 octane. I usually tune most of these 6.0L tow vehicles to make due on 87 octane. Transmission shift points also help a bunch

Shift points and converter lockup do make a big difference as does making them go into PE when the go pedal is mashed over ~50-60% throttle. I shoot for PE anytime the throttle is opened enough that the intake manifold is near atmospheric pressure.
