08 c6 z06 with a&a v3 ti.

I've got an 08 c6 z06 with a built 402, and an a&a v3 ti kit. I've been working with a tuner remotely on the vehicle. He seems to be struggling with the wide open throttle part of the tune. When the car gets above 5000 rpm or so especially in third and fourth gear the car is surging in and out of power and sort of falling on its face. He has made several revisions, but none of them have really made any change. The rest of the tune seems to be pretty good. Other than a little surge at cruise at low rpm. I've attached a couple logs, and the current tune file.

Why no VVE?
Have you checked the physical stuff? Fuel psi while under load? Secondary ignition system, plugs, wires, coil connections, grounds...?

I do not know why no VVE. I'm not tuning it. I just drive it, and make a data log. Then send it off to get a revised tune a few days later. I have checked all physical, and mechanical things yes. Checked grounds, replaced the plugs, and wires. All connections are appear good. I did a compression test, and all the cylinders were within a few psi of each other.

At one point the car did throw a p1516 code, but during diagnosis of it the code went away and has not came back.

Where in the log does it do what you're describing?

In a couple places it looks like it loses some boost but that's over 6000 rpm.

No VVE because the 2 bar COS is applied. Tables are populated but it's setup as "MAF only". Kind of strange combination.

In the first log if you slow it down to .2x speed an watch from 56 seconds to about 1 minute 5 seconds. With it slowed down you can even see the rpms bouncing as the car accelerates. Log two from about 1 minute 36 seconds to about 1 minute 44 seconds. The higher in the rpm range, and the higher the load the worse it gets.

This is the previous revision of the tune, and the log file I sent him to get tune 12 that is in the first post. It has normal and wide open throttle driving in it if that may help pinpoint the problem.

This is log 2. The cursor is at 1:38 minutes roughly, 4900 RPM. That looks like a pretty clean pull right there. Doesn't look like anything holding the engine back.

But if you look at the MAP it noses over as the RPMs continue to climb, although that all happens over 6000 rpm.

Please try to remember to add some line breaks, or at least spaces if you're going to use the 'insert inline' option (if you don't want to do that, do not 'insert inline' and attachments will end up in a little container at the bottom of the post, each link on their own line). The car pull fine up to 5000 rpm. Once it gets passed that the car starts to surge, and the higher the rpm goes the more pronounced it gets. The only thing I see is the maf airflow sae gets to 655 gram per second at around that rpm and it stays there.
