hi, could someone further explain what this table is in hptuners please? this is specifically for a ng93 saab v6 but can also be found in other different vehicles like cobalts and mustangs.
the default hptuners description says "This is a multiplier to the torque calculation, based on lambda.", but in lameman terms, what exactly does it do? does it alter the PE enrichment>Lambda numbers?

on the airflow side of tuning we write a model for it (airflow), right?
on the fueling side we enter the fueling characteristics (injector data, etc)
seems lambda efficiency is another way to paint part of the picture
fueling characteristics.
then again i only tune mopars and we don't have that table : )
thanks for the explanation, i tried to understand what you put together, but overall dont full understand how it affects and changes the PE enrichment lambda lol
edit-for example in my PE enrichment above 4k RPMs, my lambda is 0.78 which equates to about 11.2AFR. how is the lambda efficiency affects the 0.78 PE enrichment? in the lambda efficiency does it lean it out by whatever 94.50-98.50 is when it sees the PE enrichment in the 0.70-0.75 range?

this is just a guess but yeah, it seems that table lets you adjust how much less efficient the burn is as your mixture moves away from LBT .860

Since you mentioned Mopar, does dodge/Mopar come with a wideband from factory on certain vehicles? If so that may explain why the tables aren't an option on the particular vehicle you tune with. I know the saab ng93 as well as the turbocharged 2.0 ecotecs like in the cobalts and the hhr come with factory widebands in lieu of the b1s1 narrowband.
I wonder if it's more of a reference table, and you don't necessarily need to adjust it, it just shows you that the calculated torque will increase or decrease based on your lambda/AFR. If that's the case then I'm guessing that this table is for gas, and if you use something other than gas you could change it as needed to make the torque calculation more accurate (if this other fuel has a different lambda efficiency curve than gas, or whatever).
