Installing VCM Suite

Hello all. Its been years since I've been here but I need some help. I have had VCM Suite pro since around 2010 and all has been well until recently I moved and everything went to pot. My old laptop is dead so I am trying to install SW on a new one. My old installation instructions are are useless and I was unable to find on the website (looking wrong place I'm sure).

I have the VCM Suite installed, Interface serial number and Application Key installed, and MPVI connected with power light illuminated... but cannot get the resync option to come up. Do I not need it?

And since its been years...anything else I need to know to get back up and running again?

I just hope I can find my files backup!

what operating system is your new pc? MPVI1's don't play nice with windows 11. There is a workaround that sometimes works if that is the case.

thanks for the reply. Yes it is Windows11. I've been around PC's since the VIC20 in the 80's so I can do a little with them...but also forgetting things I knew as time goes on.
is there a work around so that I can manually enter commands or data into files that would get me up and running? Or do I need to get my hands on another older laptop?
