Criticize My LS2 Tune

Would love some feedback from the experts around here on my current tune.

This is my first attempt at tuning a vehicle. Bought the car "tuned" but found it to be running very lean. Have spent some time dialing in MAF & VE tables using fuel trims at part throttle, and WBO2 for PE. Car seems to be running pretty decent now. Just wondering if there's anything else I should be spend time refining? Could likely use a bit more time on the VE table. Wonder if I should be looking at spark, or anything else closer.

The timing is low at decent but not WOT loads. compare to a stock file and you'll see what I mean.

Mind the MAX VE table in the dynamic section. It caps the VE table on these.

Too much timing at WOT you think? I see the previous tuner added about 4-5 degrees. Is that based on your experience, or does something stand out to you in the log?

VE Max is interesting. Can I safely increase those values to fall in line with my VE table? Assuming I may need to go out and re-calibrate the VE table a bit after I adjust those values, at least anything above the limits?

Any insight on injection timing? Would it be worthwhile to optimize that for the cam? I see that's all stock from the previous tuner.

Following....only differences on my 05 to yours is the exhaust and cam....I am 226/238 .600 .600 113lsa +3 and stock manifolds/cats.
Our power is the same at 5250, you gain from there....you have some stuff set up differently and are running 0.86 to 0.87 lambda at WOT....whereas I am at .80 at 6400rpm.

your maf is pumping a lot more fuel than mine and your main VE is telling it way less than mine....

The Longtubes vs. manifolds/cats likely make it way different...I have added WOT fuel until it lost power...based off delivered engine torque #'s

Interesting. Your MAF table is very close to OEM calibration, which hugely contrasts mine. I suspect it has a lot to do with the shape of the air intake system ahead of the MAF, and how it impacts airflow over the sensor. It could he a bit to do with the larger overlap of my cam as well, and air getting pushed back out the intake a bit, thus being counted twice.

Likewise, the VE table is probably impacted a fair amount by the cam overlap I have, which as I understand, will reduce the VE at lower RPMs.

I notice your wideband reading is more of a flat line as well, which mine is if I am running with fuel trims disabled, however as soon as I have fuel trims enabled, mine starts to oscillate.

Interesting that at 5250 you're at 395/395 and I'm around 390/390 or so...

I know this isn't an indication of true #'s....but to me, you should add a bunch of fuel your primary VE....and go back to a more stock like PE table and command fuel along your peak torque. Maybe I am wrong, and I admit that. But mine works! I am not finished either. But if I lean it out, it will retard timing.

It seems to me that you want an accurate VE table, as it is your base map for the actual airflow through the cylinders. From there you would adjust PE ratio and timing to make peak torque / hp. That's my amateur assessment of how to do it though, and if your way is working for you, power to you.

I am planning to get some dyno time to get the wot dialed in for optimum power numbers. My main focus at the moment is getting a street-able car, which I feel like it's very close at this point, at least in comparison to where it started.
