need help with dynamic air tuning

truck set up
07 silverado
l33 5.3 4l65e 4x4
dod delete
ls7 lifters
btr truck norris cam
hardened push rods
new head gaskets
580 lift spring
lt headers
no cats
2.5 exhaust pipe
x pipe dual in dual out muffler
rest stock

tuning myself ive done lots of reading and bought books and really have put the hrs in over years of learning tuning by no means a pro but not a noob either ive tuned lots of gen3 trucks and subaru's on many platforms like holley and haltech motec megasquirt hydra etc. watched all the silver surfer vids and read lots on here but i've hit a wall that i cant seem to brake through. so got the truck to start idle and drive decent but when tuning dynamic air style for the maf and vve together things dont lay out correctly with the fuel trims its always telling me i need to put a bunch out down low and the fuel trims say im within 2 to 3 percent and if i use the number im getting with dynamic air it messes everything up so bad the truck has no power and will barley run and i have to start over. so asking for help in anyway to point me in the right direction thanks brandon ancona

after you make a change to fueling are you resetting your trims in the scanner? are you allowing for the rich after reflash condition? i tuned my maf and vve tables seperately then put it back in blended and the 3 reading are almost the same. mass airflow dynamic airflow and volumetric efficiency. if you are using cringers tuning tools your tune will be spot on.

yes im resetting the fuel trims every time im allowing time for fuel trims to even out after reflash i do a dummy log till they mellow out then i take a real log and yes im using the tools i know there supposed to be spot on but there not im not tuning them one at a time im doing both like he says to and the number dont lie it says my dynamic is off by -25 but fuel trims are with in 2 percent

Your MAF is really close. VVE is still quite rich. The good news is that your VVE shape is really well done. No harsh zone transitions and overall very smooth.

Cringer thanks for the reply i could really use ur help. ok so ive gotten the maf that close but not with the dynamic air math in the scanner ive been using ltft+stft and then inputting that into the maf tool you created because if i use the dynamic math everything gets leaned out so much truck will barley run idk what the hell is up but ive watched all ur videos over and over checked the math and filters and still i get the same results its totally frustrating ca u look and see if anything stands out in the tune or the scanner i have been doing pe stuff cause if i cant get cl right i dont wanna try pe one time i did it was super lean and lean popped on me. heres my most recent log and tune. also ive been inputting the new histrogram and the vve table and pasting it in to your tool every time after i flash is that correct? and ive tried to uses ur eoit tool also and i cant seem to figure that out but thats a whole other thing ill tackle after this any help u can provide or any knowledge you can share is much appreciated thanks Brandon Ancona

Cringer idk what the h@^L im doing wrong but ive done a couple logs and adjusted my vve table with your tool and each time vve just keeps getting worse and worse its really bad now and the truck wants to die when it comes to an idle and then catches itself and bucks and coughs and its way down on powder wont hardly get out of its own way. plus it just sounds awful and knocks also noticed my short fuel trims bounce like crazy and i can feel when it adds fuel and takes it away im at a loss about to flash it back to stock and start over idk please need some guidance is there a table that needs to be zeroed out that i missed maybe something with dod? ive notice my spark table is super jagged everywhere when its shouldn't be. anyways HELP ME

Looks like maybe you're editing the VVE table for "manifold switch closed" when you should be editing "manifold switch open". Or just copy/paste all 4 so they're the same. It references the "open" table though.

Its also not entering PE. 12420 needs to be around 15-18 to get PE to activate at 40-50% throttle.
