06 GTO AC Tune Help
Hello everyone, I am having issues when it comes to my cars ac. I don't think its an issue with the system itself but rather the tune. Driving the car in stop & go traffic will cause the AC to shut off on its own. (only on hot days) If i am to drive the car in the evening same stop & go traffic the AC never disengages. Regardless of time of day if I drive on the highway the ac never disengages on its own and is running great. Something associated with the heat in the middle of the day when I drive is causing it to disengage. Not sure if its due to high ac preasure or what but if anyone can take a look at my tune and see if anything seems a little off that could cause this?
Thanks

Does it only happen at idle? Show us a log with pertinent PID's of the issue occurring.

I would put a set of AC gauges on it.

Could be low voltage or Freon being low

That vehicle should have AC pressure as a pid. I'd start by logging that.
If it's turning off during hot stop and go driving but not on the highway that sounds like the system is either overcharged or there's a problem with the fan motor or some other reason the condenser can't shed the heat. Rolling down the highway it has way more airflow and has to work less than in stop and go traffic.
It's also possible the engine temp is getting a little too high and it's kicking it off.

My vote would be to make sure you're fans are moving enough air and pulling over the condenser. If the condenser isn't getting enough air flow over it then it will disengage the AC clutch until the pressure drops. The only way to get the pressure down is by cooling it off or shutting off the compressor.
