E38 Drivability Issues

Hi Everyone - I'm new to tuning and need some help. I recently got my 2011 Camaro SS back together. I put a base tune in it and got it to start and drive. I'm still experiencing some drivability issues. I'm sure it can be made better and was hoping to get a little help here on the forum. I know my way around the HPT software but struggle with understanding how one area can and does affect other areas.
Issues:
1. Major surging at idle in gear.
2. On deceleration the engine sounds like it turns off (but is still running). When the car gets down to about 5 mph, the rpms jumps back up, catching itself from stalling (surging the car forward).

Your Min Final Airflow table has way too high of numbers in it. Set those back to stock for now and try again.

Thanks Cringer. I appreciate your input. I lowered the numbers in the table. The idle is coming better into line. I will see how close I can get to the stock numbers. Still surging but doesn't seem as violent.

Comparing that file to a known good OE file of the same vehicle, looks like way too many changes have been made to the idle airflow tables as well as the idle adaptives. I'd return all that stuff back to stock, lower the BRAF and the startup airflow to stock then start at something like x1.2 for just those 2 tables. Leave everything else alone. That's should get you in the general area.

And what injectors are in it? Remember the bigger the injector the harder it is to control at idle. Which makes all your idle tuning that much more delicate.
