INFOLOG is empty
Hello,
Trying to tune a 5.3 jeep swap. New MVPI2 say it "belongs to another user". I purchased it a while ago but never opened it until the jeep was running, which was a week ago. Some projects take longer than you thought.....So I sent an email to HP support. HP Support asked me to send the "Infolog" file per the website instructions. I followed the website instructions but the "Infolog" window is empty. I saved it to the folder as a txt file and that is empty as well. The email from Support said I didn't need to connect it to the jeep but the website instructions say to. I am hesitant to connect something that is giving me problems from the get-go, to a vehicle I have a bunch of money and time into.
Anyone run into this?
Thanks in advanced.

You need to follow the instructions https://hptuners.freshdesk.com/suppo...-suite-infolog
You likely did not perform step 2 of the 3 steps

That?s correct. Whom ever wrote the email said I didn?t need a vehicle to do this.

Plugged into obd2 port, turned key on position. Green light is on, amber light flashes once/ second and blue light flashes quickly. Clicked info soft key on the VCM editor and the info box stayed empty for ten minutes.

correct, you don't need a vehicle to do it.
With a vehicle you get more information(about the vehicle)
Without a vehicle you just get the MPVI device information which is all we need in this case.
Not sure what you mean by soft key, that is not something I recognize in our product.
