I am using a 2001 VCM program in my 1999 Alero for performance reasons.
The only problem is a glitch with the fan control settings:
"General" -Fan 1 and -Fan 2, -On Temp, and -Off Temp, setting changes have no effect.
"Ignition Off" - Disable Temp, and - Run Time, setting changes work as they should.
Is there a way to get the fans to work?

Do you have your "Climate Control Override" set to dissable?...just a thought without seeing the file....

The stock setting for "Security," VATS: is PWM for the 1999, and Serial for the 2001. Would a mismatch there matter?
I also have a 2003 Alero, I'll try the file from it and report back in a couple of days...:)
without seeing the files its impossible to tell, once you post them we can help you further.
