The V6 code is not like the V8 code, and I suspect its not much like anything else.
The timing is very stable until you roll on the throttle. The timing can be at 17 and all the sudden with light TPS increase its down to 0.
You can be criusing along and just lift your foot of the throttle and all the sudden be at 0.
I have changed torque management, and all other items relating to timing and still cannot get it to remain stable when TPS is used. Some have said it is is a Knock sensor calibration. Some have said its a TPS tippin setting. Neither of these are in the V6 parameters to be changed at this time.
Theres stock bottom end engines out there turning 6500RPM. I set most of mine to 6200 with 5900 shifts.
