88 Monte carlos LS1 painless wiring harness

:banghead: hello. i was wondering if i could use the hptuners programing and if it will work on my car. i have an 88 monte carlo that i put a 98 LS1 motor with the 4L60E tranny. i couldnt get around the vats and a couple of other things so i bought a painless wiring harness for the LS1 98-99 vehicles. i dont have rear o2s and i have about 15 codes all for stuff like fan air pump gas tank press and stuff like that. can i edit all this out with the hptuners programming. and will it work on my setup i dont have a bcm either, do i need a bcm for the tuner to work. any info would help alot thanks joe you can email me at [email protected] thanks guys

HPtuners will work just fine for your application. :) All you need is the VCM, is it from an F-body application (the VCM)? You might need to know that.

yeah its from a wrecked 98 camaro z28

As long as you have the ALDL port, you're good to go.

yeah the painless unit came with its own fuse block, relays, vats module, and obdll hookup with its own check engine light.
