Licensing Question/Concern

...I wanted to bring up a concern with licensing. Let's say you have married to a car, the car needs to go in for warranty work and while in, the dealer updated the strategy on the PCM as part of a TSB. You then go to load your tune back onto the car however it is no longer licensed.

Is there a process to resolve this outside of having to spend more credits? I would think there should be a support process for this something like:

1. Provide support with the original tune and license key showing the marriage.
2. Provide support with a new read from the car showing the same VIN with new OSID change.


Thoughts?
