Fine tuning timing table
Hey guys im working through learning some tuning basics. I have a mild tune built and im trying to get a little further understanding on fine tuning the timing table. I ran my duration table through the timing calculator that was posted on another thread(thanks so much) but im trying to fine tune it further. I assume you don't always want your main injection split 50/50, but I cant seem to find anything more about this topic online. Any tips? thanks guys.

You can use the smarty udc calculator in conjunction with the timing calculator here. I used the udc calculator to back calc what the whole stock timing map is in percentages, then go from there.
I had the same questions and that seemed to work well for me. The calculator is available on another forum, just search the 'ol inter-webs.

I have the same question. I have an Early 04 but was able to use the calc on here with a little interpolation. So in the upper RPM and MM3 I used the 50/50 split but then backed it down a degree or 2. In the mid rpm and load range the factory uses neg timing so I was afraid to add more than a couple degrees.

I'll take a look into that then thanks!
And yeah so far I'm fairly happy. I'm thinking about buying starlites book here soon. I've just been taking baby steps and reading as much as is available, still trying to more completely understand the datalogging features as well.
