timing problem?
So I felt like I had a fairly decent tune put together, truck runs very well on it, just a little more smoke than I want. I assume that's just fine tuning in the boost limiting table. Anyways, I datalogged it and noticed that the truck is following the low air Dens steady state timing table. I used the timing calc on another thread to put in for a 50/50 split throughout. I loaded this tune onto the truck, let it get up to operating temp, and then when I drove it as soon as I got into third gear and mashed it the truck hit maybe 1500 rpms and made a popping noise and fell on its face. Is that railpop then? or a misfire? just trying to figure out what the problem was so that I can get it fixed and flashed to the truck. Also any other advice is great guys, thanks.

I don't see anything that will make it do that. Log rail pressure, then you will know. When you pop the rail relief, you will see it. I doubt that's the problem at 1500 rpm though.

It's most likely a timing issue. Look at your pilot timing adders

I talked to some other guys and im thinking its too much pilot timing. Unfortunately I wont get to mess with the truck for a while but ill see if that's it.
