I know if I hold down the traction control button for 7 sec it will turn off the system. My question is can it be done via the tune so I don't have to press the button every time I get into the car?
If so how??

Nope.
Unplug the an ABS sensor or wire in a signal cut switch to a wheel bearing (redneck method). The most you can do is really reduce what ways the computer controls traction with fuel cut and spark etc etc.
Traction control and stabilitrak can't touched with HPT.
When I go to the drags, I pull the traction control fuse. It beeps and flashes stuff on the dash, but it is so noisy there, I can't hear it anyway. It is REAL aggravating driving around town though.
You can kill it in the tune in a 2010 Camaro... Torque management - General - TCS Method - disable all / You can also dial in max torque settings if you want traction, but not as much of it and you can kill versions of traction such as wheel hop... You want it completely killed beyond doubt - TCS Method - Disable All, Raise max tq to 8100 in TCS method section and Disable all Powerhop settings...
You can actually kill it in pretty much all gen 4's...
All you have to do is set the TCS enable temp to any temp above normal operating temps, like say 492?
