ve e38 6l settings in 6.2l base file

im new to the more modern gm ecus so really not super knowledgeable on what differences there are between models/engines/combos and what info can be mixed n matched...

but just curious if its possible to use some of the settings from a manual 6l ss and if so where do i start?
or will it be a bit cunty?
would a factory 6.2 tune handle the differences between motors?
at the moment its going into a limp mode with very little power, it was running a mafless tune but had no IAT at the time. not sure if thats fixed now it has a maf on it, just thought i'd get bit more info before we keep fucking with settings...
