Tracking down a P0101

I'm trying to run down a P0101 error. I don't really believe there is necessarily anything wrong with the MAF as nothing at all looks out of the ordinary in my data logs when the code sets.

According to the software "The VCM will constantly check the MAF operation by comparing the MAF calculated airflow value against the calculated airflow using speed/density calculations. If the difference exceeds the threshold value at the particular speed/density calculated airflow then P0101 will be set."

Sounds good, I can look at the editor and see what the maximum delta values are, so I should be able to figure out in the datalog where I am exceeding that value, but I need to be able to see what it is calculating using speed/density. I don't see anything immediately obvious to log that straight away, but I figure maybe it can be done with a custom calculated value based off of some other values. I imagine I could eventually figure it out using dimensional analysis, unit conversions, and a whole lot of time but I'd love to see if it has already been done to save some time.

Ideas?

Edit - I guess it would be helpful to know it's a '04 Silverado with the 5.3L.

Most likely, if you tune your MAF and VE they will agree and the code will not happen.

Under Engine Diag > Airflow > Maximum Delta Airflow - P0101 error, highlight the whole table and multiply X 4.
