EGT, Single Reading, How Is It Calculated?

Working on my Pentastar V6, I see there is a single exhaust gas temperature in the data viewer. Anyone know how exactly this is calculated? There is a separate O2 on each bank. Is it average? Just one side? Any way to get individual readings for each side?

It's modeled. It's both and there is no way to get just one side. It's also not very accurate - do not use for tuning.
