high idle stand alone le5

stand alone setup on a 08 le5. Having trouble with a high idle. Engine has a manual vw transmission on it. Starts up perfect and will idle down for {20/30} seconds then will ramp up to 3 or 4k rpm. I am 99 percent sure of no vacuum leaks I have checked several ways and found nothing. I have not changed much in the ecm other than the vats and the crank inhibit. is there anything in the transmission settings I should be looking at? I am pretty new to the software and still learning my way through things.
