Gen 5 to Saginaw ps noise

Now that I have it running correctly need to work out a few bugs. Anyone have any over pressure issues with the new style pumps and the old Saginaw boxes? Mine is noisy and the oil gets hot when running it in the shop or puttering around. Good pressure and assist, even when it gets hot. Just more noise.
Wondering if there is an issue with the late model pumps and old style boxes, or if I need a new box and or cooler. Old style pumps never did this to me before. Always stayed reasonably cool unless you were over stressing the steering. Noise is like the groan when going against lock, just not as loud. Thanks.
