Since you can change readable operating range of the map sensor (assuming you get one that will read 2.5 bar or 3 bar) under this screen shot http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/u...creenshot1.jpg
and then using the open loop adder under airflow gain in place of the PE/ Boost enrichment ratio that would normally show then

Can get you about the same results right? I mean this is of course if you hit boost right off throttle transition. If the boost gradually builds, then honestly you should have no express need for a 2.5 bar system.
You have effectively done the same thing right? Unless you hit higher boost when not in open loop.....But I fail to see how 1 lb or not even hitting boost would cause a problem. Otherwise you are prob already in PE, so there is no need to worry. That seems to be the easiest way to work around the no VE table thing....ideally.
That is my .02
Of course, this is the way my luck goes. I'm acquiring a second PCM to use to modify in case I toast something since my warranty lasts another 2yrs. Before I flash it with anything, is there something I can check in it to modify or avoid flashing so I can choose the 2bar speed density? I assume flashing my stock full OS to it will update it and I'll end up where I am now.
How do I get the new 2.5 bar OS? i want to upgrade but I'm not sure how to do it
Ok, newest beta adds 2.5 bar support to that final 2010 Camaro operating system
12637084 as well as a 2007 Truck/SUV operating system we had several requests for 12614088.

Hi Bill, you mentioned "newest beta adds 2.5 bar support to that final 2010 Camaro operating system 12637084"
I have 12637084 and thought the latest beta 2.23.660 and i dont see an option for 2.5bar. Is there a newer beta?
Thanks
Yes
Quick question. On the 07 Silverado's that 2.5bar support just got added, I still have two MAF tables, not one big extended MAF. Was this a pain in the ass to do or did my 2.5bar not change correctly?
Thanks.
Email support with your .hpt file file & serial number and I'll take a look.
It doesn't convert to one table. Look at the MAF high table... It will have extended range and double the airflow limit.
Newer betas should fix the maf table in this os id, he was likely just using one of the original betas from late july/early august which hadn't extended the maf limits.
