I have a 2013 w a single turbo and it has a 8 misfire. Under boost only 4psi. Built 392 5.7 w swapped couls, injectors, plugs, cp is 198. No visual damage to cylinder and when it happens, occasionally it continues to miss after your off the throttle and idling. Never been able to get the hood open quick enough to move the harness or listen for injector pulse.
No detonation. I am at a loss past overlaying the injector and coil for number 8.

So I take it there is no positive ID on the root cause? Yet? Not trying to hijack thread just chiming in and listening with high hopes.
No one here has mentioned an Edelbrock 2300 TVS 7psi, so add that one. Two or three from highway speed WOT kick-downs and get the P0308 when letting off. Normally no felt miss. If it does cycling power it goes away, still have to reset the CEL.
I hope I can find a harness to try. 2013 R/T. If one of you guys swapped harnesses without success and want to recoup $$ from the extra that was not bad let me know.
Datalog the number of misfires, cylinder by cylinder and total. Look at how many misfires you are getting on a drive cycle. My cammed, supercharged (Whipple) 5.7L likes to kick up a P0308, when logged it is like around 20 or so misfires. A guy who helped me with my tune said he wasn't concerned with it on a cammed HEMI.
Thanks.
