How would I add cells 8-13 (purge off) to my graph? I already use the equation [6810]<6. Can I add to the equation to include the other zones or do I have to make a separate graph?
When I am in boost I'm in cell 9.
Thanks.

I assume you mean on the filter?
Just do [6810]<6 OR [6810]=8 OR [6810]=9 OR [6810]=10 OR [6810]=11 OR [6810]=12 OR [6810]=13
I think that will work. There's probably a prettier way to do it but I think just using a bunch of OR's will make it work
You could probably do something like [6810]>7 AND [6810]<14 to only get 8 to through 13. Maybe anyways.
Good deal
So, just want to say thanks for the information sharing.
I'm in a similar boat. I've got my graphs setup and my AFR VE error graph works perfect.
I've also got my MAF error setup and it's only populating the first cell. Attached are my files for review.
I'll look in a bit
Looks like you ARE logging mass airflow frequency which is what most people forget, but it's not working on my MAF graphs either
I think I figured it out. Try this histogram and tell me what you think.

You posted a channels list, not graphs
Here is a STFT MAF graph and AFR Error MAF graph that work with the log you posted.
You aren't logging LTFT's so the LTFT+STFT math parameter doesn't work
You are also in open loop so STFT's aren't active.. so the STFT one will be all 0's
Change the break points to whatever is in your tune

Thanks Ed, Have then done one to do the VE error??
Can someone show HOW to setup filtering for filtering out decel on MAF error? Maybe a few screen shots?
Are you logging fuel trim cell?
It's already been explained how to do it.
You could use the variable wizard for that, just search for the #. If it's not supported on that vehicle I don't think it'll show up
You can also hit the gear w/green check mark icon and it will hide all PID's that you can't use (either because you aren't logging them or they aren't supported on that particular vehicle)

Thanks, that should work. I also want to thank you and Ed for all the help you have provided for those of us that a going through the relearn with the newer version. As you have remarked, it isn't that bad of a learning curve once we start working with it. Got a project that I need to move forward on and was somewhat hesitant of going through the learning process again..... BTW since you are a tuner by night, do you have access to a dyno?
An early Christmas present from ERM Performance Tuning :-)
Fuel Trim Cell filters for Dummies.....
Gen III Closed Loop only -- [6310]<16 (only let 0-15 through) --OR-- Gen III Open Loop -- only cells that will work is idle (EVAP CLOSED) 20, Coastdown 21 and non-idle 22 which is everything else; Use [6310]=22
Gen IV (2005-2008sh) EVAP OPEN (normally what I like to log) -- [6310]<16 (only let 0-15 through) --Alternate-- (EVAP OPEN and CLOSED) -- ([6310]<16 OR ([6310]>20 AND [6310]<37)) (allows both EVAP Open and Closed to be let through)
Gen IV (2009sh+) EVAP OPEN -- [6310]<6 (only let 0-5 through) --Alternate-- Gen IV (2009sh+) EVAP OPEN and CLOSED -- ([6310]<6 OR ([6310]>7 AND [6310]<14)) (allows both EVAP Open and Closed to be let through)
Note, to help with Decel trim early release, include MAP>40 kPa and/or Accelerator Pedal >1 and/or TPS$>idle value

Sorry to bump an old thread, but Im having difficulty understanding these fuel trim chart meanings. How does one know when the ECM is in a specific fuel trim? eg: 0-15, 16-22??
Also when logging WB error for VE tuning in OLSD, im having difficulty writing the actual filter string command in V3.0
Thanks
The full list is in thread #6. The Later LS3 convention will appear in your tune file at Engine>Fuel>LTFT Boundaries and be labeled AF (Air Flow Mode Purge on/odd). LS1 is pretty easy to tell and LS2/7 is you E40/E38 versions. If in doubt log the values and verify.
As far as your question, could you be a bit more specific as to what you issue is. If tuning an LS1, the OL will yield only FTC 22 IIRC.
